Can I gift stock to my grandchild without a custodial account?
Yes — that's the point of Beestow. There's no custodial account, no paperwork, and no account minimum. The recipient (or their parent) creates a free account to claim and redeems the cash value when ready.
Do I need a brokerage account to send a gift to family?
No. Neither you nor the recipient needs a brokerage account to send or claim. Cash can be redeemed to any major brokerage or a regular bank account later.
Can a young grandchild receive a stock gift?
Yes. There's no age restriction. A parent or guardian claims and manages the gift on the child's behalf.
Are there ongoing fees that shrink the gift?
No. Beestow has no monthly account fees — there's just a small one-time service fee shown upfront when you send.
How does the grandchild get the money?
When they're ready, they redeem and Beestow transfers the cash value to a brokerage or bank account in their name — typically within 1–3 business days.
What if the stock drops?
The value is based on the live price at the moment they choose to redeem — not when you send it. Gifts never expire, so they can wait for a recovery.
