How much should I give for a wedding gift?
There's no fixed rule, but cash wedding gifts commonly range from around $75 for a coworker to $200 or more for close friends and family. On Beestow you set any amount from $20 up, and a small flat service fee is shown upfront before you pay.
Is giving stock a rude wedding gift?
It reads the same way cash does — which surveys consistently show is what most couples prefer. The difference is presentation: instead of an envelope, the couple gets a named company, your message, and something they'll remember receiving.
Do the newlyweds need a brokerage account?
No. They create a free Beestow account to claim, then redeem the cash value to any major brokerage or a regular bank account. No brokerage account is required on either side.
Can we send one gift from several people?
Yes — one person sends a single gift for the combined amount and adds everyone's names in the message. Group gifts are one of the most common ways Beestow gets used for weddings.
Does the couple own the shares?
No. A Beestow gift is a prepaid gift whose value is linked to the stock's market performance. When they redeem, Beestow transfers the cash value to their brokerage or bank account — they receive cash, not securities.
What if the stock drops before they redeem?
The value is based on the live price at the moment they choose to redeem — not when you sent it. They control the timing, so they can wait. Gifts never expire.
